Internet Engineering Association, LLC. selects PostgreSQL as database software supplier

IEA explains, "Since we provide fully managed website and email services our clients expect a few things from us; 1) that their website does not go down, 2) that we keep it updated and 3) that their email works. It sounds simple but it can be very challenging, especially if problem prone hardware and software are used to power everything. So we must carefully choose which hardware and software suppliers we decide to go with. Hardware suppliers may include IBM, Dell, Intel and AMD. Software suppliers may include Apache, Postfix, PostgreSQL, Windows and Macromedia.
PostgreSQL supplies rock solid database software. So we have decided to use them exclusively for our database software needs. The name PostgreSQL probably means nothing to our average client. But unknown to most clients, some websites rely heavily on database software. If the database has a problem then the website has a problem. The same goes with email. So we need to use rock solid software in order to provide reliable service."
PostgreSQL is considered by many to be the most advanced opensource database software. PostgreSQL has added Internet Engineering Association to its list of North American hosting providers.
